DRIVE & VISION
Rodrigo Zuñiga is a self-taught sculptor with a visceral style and marked ancestral influence who develops a personal abstraction and conciliation with the stone that symbolize the intricate nuances and labyrinths of the human being. The Stone Weaver as he is known, embodies a synthesis of the temporal and the eternal through every weft and strand of his work.
Sergio Fernández is a self-taught photographer who leaves aside the presence of landscape and architectural elements often seen in his body of work to endeavor this time into the dynamics of portraiture and explore the capabilities of the photographic medium to see beyond the documentary record, presenting an intimate approach on Rodrigo and the entire dimension of his work.
This two-person show presents the synchrony of two creative minds that come together in a delivery of drives and visions that reveal broader truths about their arts and characters.
